food self-reliance in jamaica

My dissertation, available here, is a mixed-methods study of Jamaica’s domestic food system. I analyze how global economic and political processes impact growing, selling and eating Jamaican food. The study is funded by a Doctoral Award from the International Development Research Centre and a Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship from Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council.
